Robert “Bob” L. Kenville

Lyons—Robert L. Kenville, 87, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Laurel House Comfort Care.

Friends may call on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 3-6 PM at the Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons, NY. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in South Lyons Cemetery.

Memorials in his name may be made to Laurel House Comfort Care Home, 224 Fair St., Newark, NY 14513.

Bob was born in Piercefield, NY on March 18, 1939, the son of the late Alphonse and Dorothy Bishop Kenville. He retired from Xerox, after 33 years, where he worked in various capacities. In his retirement he worked for Lyons National Bank as a courier, he spent eighteen years at LNB and finally fully retired after turning 81. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, carpentry, gardening, playing golf, camping, and riding motorcycles with friends.

He is survived by a son, Dale (Ellen) Kenville; two daughters, June (Bob) Sherman and Christine (Jude) Yadanza; grandchildren, Josh, Laci (John), Kelly (Christopher), Matthew, Michael (Kelsey), Dani, Kaleigh, Keriann, and Jessica; eleven great grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Carol) Kenville; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife Nelda in 2018 and a great grandson, Diazen, in 2005.
