Richard A. Puls Lyons—Richard A. Puls, 85, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 surrounded by his family at Newark Wayne Community Hospital. A celebration of Life will be planned for the Spring of 2022. Burial will be in South Lyons Cemetery. Mr. Puls was born in Lyons, NY on January 14, 1936 the son of the late Albert and Florence Goetzman Puls. In October of 1957, he married Marilyn Mittak. For over thirty years, he was the owner of Richards Studio in Newark. He was a member of the Professional Photography Society of New York. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Lyons. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Marilyn; two daughters Laura (Thomas) Berry of KY, Karen (Rick Lape) Waters of Camillus; two sons Richard (Kathleen) Puls Jr. of Lyons, Steven (Maryann) Puls of Marion; five grandchilddren Tim (Whitney) Berry, Zachary (Gabrielle) Puls, Michael Waters, Jeffrey Puls and Maui Waters; four great grandchildren Kennedy, Collin, Claire and Ethan.
