North Rose/Lyons---Julianne VanHanehan passed away peacefully at 1am on September 10, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Julianne was born on October 18, 1968 to her parents, Barbara Ann Patt and Gary St. Thomas in the big city of Newark, NY.

On December 22, 1990, Julianne married the love of her life, David VanHanehan. They were blessed with two children, Emily (Joshua) and Eric (Mary). Julianne was also gifted with four grandchildren that she absolutely adored, Evelyn, Charlotte, Isabelle, and Oliver.

Julianne is survived by her younger sister Mary, Mother-in-law Mary Ann, Sister-in-Law Donna, Brothers-in-Law Mark & Brian. In addition, Julianne has a large extended family, as well as many friends that she considered family, whom she loved dearly.

In her steadfast faith Julianne enjoyed being a "roaming" Catholic with her husband by her side as they visited numerous churches, basilicas and cathedrals. She also enjoyed gardening, all things Mickey, traveling, as well as baking and crafting with her grandchildren. However, what Julianne loved most was being surrounded by family while cooking meals, sharing stories and laughing with one another.

Julianne’s beautiful smile, infectious laugh, magnetic personality, extreme generosity, and overwhelming love for all with be fondly remembered and missed.

St. Thérèse the “Little Flower” is Julianne's confirmation saint and favorite saint. In lieu of flowers donations, please consider a donation to Society of the Little Flower.

Funeral services will be held at St. Patrick’s Church in Seneca Falls, NY on Saturday September 19 at 11am. Reception to follow at the Rose Community Building. Thanks in advance to all and God Bless!
