Lyons---Jody Ann Bornheimer, 69, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Newark Wayne Community Hospital.

Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons, NY 14489.

Jody was born on July 16, 1957, in Lyons the daughter of the late Charles and Doris Schram DeWaele. She was a graduate of Lyons High School. For over forty years, she worked in the Wayne County Treasurer's office as a Deputy Clerk.  Jody loved the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas.  She enjoyed decorating and preparing for each holiday. In her spare time, she could be found camping.  Jody cherished her time with her grandchildren.  

Jody is survived by two sons Dillon (Jamie) and Jacob Bornheimer; two grandchildren Leilani and Milo Bornheimer; a brother Michael (Kathy) DeWaele; niece and nephew Kevin and Stephanie DeWaele; father of her two children Edward Bornheimer.
