Wolcott—Gerald E. Mundy, 81, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Geneva General Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at noon on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Huron Evergreen Cemetery 6300 Dutch Street in Wolcott.

Gerald was born in Sodus, on November 7, 1944, the son of the late Theodore (Elwood) and Helen McRorie Mundy. He was a graduate of Leavenworth High School in Wolcott. He retired from Wayne ARC where he served as a Transport Operator. For many years, he was an active member of the Wolcott Volunteer Ambulance. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.

He is survived by his sons Mark (Tami) Mundy and Jeff Mundy; three grandchildren Ashley Seppeler, Derrick (Rachel) Mundy and Ryan Mundy; a great granddaughter Ava Seppeler. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley in 2012; a brother Theodore and a sister Mary.
