Charles (Chuck) C. McIntyre

Charles McIntyre, 67, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

Chuck was born on September 29, 1959, in Lyons, NY, to the late William C. and Nellie B. McIntyre. He graduated from Lyons High School. Chuck retired from the Town of Lyons and went on to own and operate his own business, C. McIntyre Landscaping, in Lyons. His work was never just a job to him—he truly loved what he did. He had a natural gift for running his equipment, and it showed in every project he touched.

Always by his side was his loyal companion, Chester, his chocolate lab. Chester went nearly everywhere with him—often seen at job sites, sometimes running alongside Chuck, other times riding right on the equipment with him. They were inseparable.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Michelle L. (Mead) McIntyre; his brothers David (Nancy) McIntyre, Glen (Kristine) McIntyre, and Matthew (Jessie) McIntyre; his faithful dog, Chester; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Rebecca.

A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at a later date.
