Myra A. Abbott

Red Creek/Rochester Myra A. Abbott, 73, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Unity Hospital in Rochester. Family services will be private. Myra was born on June 25, 1940 in West Dryden, a daughter to the late Floyd L. and Marcia M. Beardsley Abbott. She lived in Cortland for many years before moving to Red Creek and then the Shire of Culverton of Rochester. Myra helped out at the Murray Center in Cortland and then the Wayne Behavior Health in Lyons. She had a funny sense of humor and loved to joke around. She is survived by her 2 brothers, Robert of Lyons and Walter (Cindy) of TN; 10 nieces and nephews, David, Robert, Jr., Alethea, John, Linda, Larry, Richard, Charles, Belinda and Steven and loving friend, Laurie Yonker. She will be loved and missed by many. Arrangements were entrusted to Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, Red Creek.
