Red Creek Joseph F. Krais, Jr., passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014. Family and friends may call Tuesday (Feb. 4) from noon to 3 pm at Keysor Funeral Service, 11362 South St., Cato, where a funeral service will follow at 3 pm. Contributions may be made to Newark Wayne Community Hospital Foundation, 1200 Driving Park Ave. Newark, NY 14513 in Joe's memory. Joseph was born August 24, 1933 in Jersey City, NJ, a son to the late Joseph and Elsie Steubenrauch Krais. He was a veteran of the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife Theresa of 53 years; 6 children, Teresa Ann Krais of MA; Michael Krais of TX, Robert (Katie) Krais of East Amherst, Maria (David) Rodas of Williamsville, Patricia (Matt) Dellana of PA and Roger (Jill) Krais of VA; 7 grandchildren; 7 siblings, Mary Ann Allen of Canastota, Dolores (Carl) Meyer of VA, David (Phyllis) Krais of FL, Raymond (Joan) Krais of Rochester, Eleanor (Richard) Krick of NC, Peter (Sharon) Krais of Liverpool and Joanne Waldron of Oswego; several nieces and nephews.
