Victory Evelyn B. Jones, 96, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Cayuga County Nursing Home. A funeral service will be held at the Victory Methodist Church at a later date. Date and time will be announced at a later date. Spring burial will be in Victory Cemetery. Evelyn was born on October 16, 1917 in Victory, a daughter to the late Fred and Lulu Timerson Jones. She is survived by her niece, Virginia Foley of Buffalo; nephew, Donald Jones of Red Creek; and several great nieces and nephews.
