Sodus Point John Erwin "Coho" Crane, 73, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. A memorial service will be held on Sunday (June 15) 2 pm at Fellowship of Faith Church, 1939 Stokes Rd. Lyons. A true gentleman, John will be remembered as a sea captain and pioneer of Great Lakes Trout and Salmon Fishing techniques and tackle as well as a renowned landscape and portrait artist. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ingrid; son, John (Debbie); daughter, Hedy; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 4 brothers, Richard (Galina), Robert (Janet), Douglas (Carmel) and Roger (Becky).
