George G. Stiles

Fairport/Red Creek George G. Stiles, 71, currently of Fairport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 9, 2014. Family and friends may call Wednesday, (Aug. 13) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, 6816 Church St., Red Creek, where a funeral service will be held Thursday (Aug. 14) at 11 am. Burial will be in Community Burying Grounds, Wolcott. George was born March 11, 1943 in Lyons, a son to the late George H. and Vera Cowdery Stiles. He retired from The Jewish Home in Brighton, working in maintenance. Having been very loved and outgoing, he is survived by his wife Norma (DeVol) of 41 years; 6 children, Barbara (Jim) DuBois of Sodus, Sharon (Bob) Sanderson of Henderson, Michael Burlew of Sodus, Sandra Kingsley of Bath, Jackie (Patrick) O'Connell of Rochester and Alan (Ronda) Stiles of MO; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Eleanor (Duane) Ingersoll of Fulton, Evelyn (Tom) Facteau of Irondequoit, Ruth (Paul) Starks of Avon, and Diane (Frank) Walker of Geneseo; brother, Kenneth Stiles of Avon; sister-in-law, Nancy Stiles of Rochester; many nieces and nephews.
