Lyons Donna Z.R. Mayo, 90, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 08, 2014, at home with her family at her side. Family and friends may call TODAY (Sunday, Nov. 9) from 2 to 4 at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons, where a brief service will follow at 4 pm. Donna was born in Honolulu, HI on September 12, 1924, a daughter to Rupert M. and Marjorie Ross Zimmerli. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and worked locally at Mac Intosh Company in Lyons many years. She is survived by her daughter, Meyrick (Vern) Peterson of Lyons, son, Duncan P. (Joycelyn) Mayo of MI; 7 grandchildren, Luke, Hannah, Abigail, Grace, Isaac, Justynn and Kenneth; and 3 great-grandchildren, Zimmerli, Sadie and Robert. She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Dale Reem, who was a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient during the Korean Conflict. www.keysorfuneralhomes.com
