Kenneth Becker Caywood

Red Creek Kenneth Becker Caywood, 89, of Manley Dr., passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Wayne County Nursing Home, following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease. He had celebrated his 89th birthday March 13, 2015. The son of the late J. Horton and Mae Becker Caywood, he was predeceased by his parents and his brother Byron. Family and friends may call on Monday (Mar. 30) from noon to 3 pm at Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, 6816 Church St., Red Creek, where a funeral service will follow at 3 pm. Private burial will be in Southside Cemetery, Red Creek. Ken spent his early years farming and later joined the Transportation Department at Red Creek Central School. He drove bus for over 30 years before retiring. He and his wife Marie spent winters for the next 22 years in Florida, until two years ago when they moved home to Red Creek because of his health. He is survived by his wife, Marie; 4 children, Sue (Lewis) Wendover of TN, Gary (Mary) Grasso Caywood of SC, Bonnie Michaels of Red Creek and K. Michael (Marie) Sina Caywood of Wolcott; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, Adelaide Caywood and many cousins.
