Robin H. Poole, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic surrounded by her family after a brief illness.
Family, friends and neighbors may stop by the house at 4883 S. Main St., in North Rose on Sunday, (December 13) between the hours of 1 pm and 4 pm to visit with Robin’s family.
For those wishing, memorials may be made to The Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Rd., Lyons NY 14489 in her memory.
Robin was born March 22, 1952 in Lyons, a daughter to the late Harry L. and Eva Hildebrandt Aunkst. She worked for Parker-Hannifin Corporation in Lyons for 33 years and then worked at Legendary Auto in Newark for 3 years before retirement. She loved to attend car shows to show their 1964 Comet, working in her flower garden, go antiquing, and spending time with her family and cats, Tiger Lilly, Gracie Lu, Eva May and Sassy.
She is survived by her husband Steven of 46 years; daughter, Jodi (Keith) Brandis of Oneida; son, Shawn Poole of Geneva; 5 grandchildren, Nathan, Brianne, Wyatt, Elena, and Tyler; siblings, Linda Busco of Lyons, Nancy Lead of Lyons, Yvonne (James) Abraham of AZ, Richard (Dingma) Aunkst of CA, Krystine Ruckdeschel of Lyons and Harry (Patricia) Aunkst of Lyons; several nieces and nephews.
