William E. Bassett, 73, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016.
Family and friends may call Saturday (Feb 20) from 1 to 3 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons. Other services will be private.
Bill was born June 19, 1942 in Newark, a son to the late George and Harriet Seymour Bassett. He retired from Parker-Hannifin in Lyons in 2008. He also was a volunteer at Lyons Fire Department.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Robert Seymour. Survived by 4 siblings, Gwendolyn (William) Banckert of Newark, Shirley (Jim) Johns of Lyons, Georgine Swann of Newark and David Bassett of Newark; nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend James Pacello III.
