George A. “Brad” Bradley, Jr. left this world peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 with his loving wife by his side.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Brad’s life on Saturday, September 10, 2016, 4 pm at North Rose United Methodist Church, Main St. North Rose.

Brad was born May 14, 1927, in Johnson City, a son to the late George and Stella McClellan Bradley. He served his country in WWII and Korea, receiving numerous medals and Five Purple Hearts. After the military he made his career in general aviation where he was an avid pilot, working as a crop duster, flight instructor and running cargo operations. Following an accident that prohibited flying he switched to contract security for several large corporations, retiring in 1990. Active in Aviation, until 2007.  He loved dancing, music and had a great sense of humor. He was also the undefeated Champion of Trivial Pursuit in the family. He will be greatly missed by all.

Predeceased by his three daughters, Anne Marie, Maryann and Kathleen; Brad is survived by Edie, his wife of 42 years; son Patrick and daughter Myra McCarthy.

Arrangements have been made with Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., North Rose.
