Steven J. Young, 62, of Lakes Corner Rose Valley Rd., passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, September 3, 2016.
Family and friends may call Wednesday (Sept. 7) from 5 to 8 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons. Burial will be private at Elmwood Cemetery.
Steve was born October 3, 1953 in Lyons, a son to John W. and Barbara Robeson Young. He was employed for 42 years at Silgan Container in Lyons. Steve enjoyed sports whether playing or watching, especially being a NY Giants fan.
He is survived by 2 sons, Adam Young of Saratoga Springs and Jason Young (Colleen McDermott) of CT; father, John W. Young of Clyde; 3 siblings, Sandra Malandra of Elmira Heights, Scott (Pat) Young of Clyde and Susan (Robert) Atkins of Clyde; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his mother, Barbara Young 1977, 2 brothers, Brian in 1993 and William in 2011.
