Francis (Frank) Gene Phillips, Jr.,  passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, December 30, 2017. 

Calling hours will be Friday, January 5, 2017, from 2 PM–5 PM at Weeks - Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St, Lyons NY, where a funeral service will follow at 5 pm.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be a pot luck celebration of life at Magee Fire Hall, 1807 Route 318, Seneca Falls, NY at 6:00 PM.

Frank was born in Newark, NY on June 3,1938 to parents Minnie J [De Bois] and Francis G Phillips, Sr. Frank was a Jack of all trades and a master of one; meat cutter.  A butcher by trade he was the first meat manager in the Seneca Falls Super Duper until he opened  ‘Frank’s Meat Market’ on Fall St in Seneca Falls. He ran multiple produce stands throughout Wayne and Seneca counties.  He and his loving wife Joyce [Pollic] later owned ‘The General Store’ on Canal St in Lyons, NY for some 30+ years.

He is survived by his wife Joyce; children, Cynthia [Shane] Loncosky, Christina Roberts, Francis  Phillips, III, Betsy [Bob] Baldwin, Joseph, Sr. [Julie] Phillips, Todd [Melanie] Phillips Kimberly [David] Krieger, and William DeLarm; step-children, Beverly, Clayton, David, Shirley, Linda and Tim Page and Daniel and Wendy Dressing; 20 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; many step-grandchildren and many step- great-grandchildren.  Also survived by his sister, Catherine Flock of Newark, NY and brother, Anthony Phillips of Lyons, NY.

In addition to his parents Frank is predeceased by his son, Gerald; his brother Joseph and grandson, SSG Francis Phillips, IV.
