Oscar “Bud” Kirchhoff, 74, passed away at home on Thursday, January 11, 2018 after an extended illness.

Family and friends may call Sunday (Jan. 14) from 2 to 4 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons.  Other services will be private, and a later burial date will be in South Lyons Cemetery.

For those wishing, memorials may be made to the Town of Lyons Ambulance, 43 Phelps St. Lyons, NY 14489.

Bud was born April 26, 1942 in Rochester, a son to the late Oscar C. and Elizabeth Butler Kirchhoff.  He was in the Marines from 1961-1965, honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal and retired from Straight Motors in Stanley after 33 years of employment.

He is survived by his wife Karen, of 51 years; beloved daughter, Corrine George of Newark; 2 beautiful granddaughters, Rachel and Sara George; wonderful son, Kurtis Kirchhoff (Christine) of Lyons; 2 brothers, Raymond (Barbara) Kirchhoff of Corinth and George (Janet) Kirchhoff of Porters Corners; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
