Willie J. Kemp, 72, of Bishop Rd., entered into eternal rest at home on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Willie was born January 23, 1946 in Midville, GA a son to Henry and Annie Lee Wells Kemp.  He retired from CSX Railroad in Lyons after 35 years of employment.

He was a devoted father, beloved grandfather, and a loving brother, uncle, and husband.  He loved the outdoors and working in his garden.  He was an avid bowler who was known to throw a mean curve to pick up a spare.  He was generous and was ready with wisdom and warm smiles when needed.

Willie is survived by his wife Mary, of 40 years; 4 daughters, Kimberly (Brenna) Kemp of Front Royal, VA, Michelle (Tammie) Kemp of Perryville, MD, Jacqueline Cinquegrana of Windsor Mill, MD, and Elizabeth (Ronald) Kemp Caulder of Finksburg, MD; 4 grandchildren, Mikhala Marie Kemp, Makenna Marie Kemp, David Evan Caulder and his namesake William James Caulder; 3 brothers, Walter (Yvonne) Kemp, Sr. of Fairport, NY, Carzell (Vivian-deceased) Kemp, Sr., of Lyons, NY, and Reverend David (Ernestine) Kemp, Sr. of Wadley, GA, along with a host of extended family and caring, loyal friends.
