Debra J. Mendat, 63, of Resort Rd., passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

Friends and family may call 12 noon- 3pm on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., N. Rose, where a funeral service will follow at 3 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Debra was born on March 3, 1955 in Sodus, a daughter to the late Oscar J. and Mildred Hagerty LaValley. She worked for Duffy-Mott’s in Williamson, NY. She was a member of the North Wolcott Christian Church and the North Rose Fire Department.

Predeceased by her son, Kelly; 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Debra is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Michael; sons, Michael Mendat, Jr. of Henrietta and Nicholas Mendat of North Rose; grandchildren, Ori, Kylee, Alyssa and Hudson; brother, Frank (Carol) LaValley of Huron; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
